~Singing For My Father~

Today I've been sick, so I'm just sitting here blogging. Anyway...me, my mom, and my sister sang a special at church yesterday and apparently it went really well (we got quite a few complements...which I was not expecting). I was starting to come down with something on Sunday so my voice just didn't sound as clear as it should have. But the Lord still used us and taught me a lesson. We are only a tool that the Lord is using. Sometimes we think we just have it all together...when we don't. The Lord can make your voice sound like whatever He wants to. I was up there singing for Him. And because my voice wasn't all that great, it shows me how small I am compared to God! He's so big and controls everything!

As I said...we got more than enough complements on how wonderful we all sounded and how it blessed their hearts...what an answer of prayer! I was just wanting the Lord to use our voices to speak to the congregation and bless them. And...He did! I guess my note of encouragement is this: Trust the Lord and glorify Him in all you do...no matter what!
