MY WORLD VIEW

My World View



My highest goal in life is to please the Lord in all that I do and to live for Him in good times and in bad. He's my center focus and I strive to be in his will through all the decisions I make. I love the Lord because he first loved me . I know this because he died on the cross for my sins and everybody else's so we could have eternal life in heaven with him when we die (John 3:16).

The bible is especially important to me. I believe that it was written by God and from God to us as a guide that we are supposed to follow. It's His love letter to me personally, every time I open the book His loving words come spilling off the holy pages.

Prayer is also very important in my life. Without communion with the Lord I could get off track. When I pray it's a time to pour my heart out to the Lord and thank Him for all that He's done. It also helps me to grow closer to the Lord and our relationship becomes even more personal.

I try to be obedient to the Lord in all that I do (although since I'm a sinner sometimes I falter). I also believe that it is very important to obey your parents. After all the Lord says in the scriptures "Honor thy father and mother which is the first commandment with promise, that it may be well with thee and that thou mayest live long on the earth". I strive to honor them because they are the head of the household and I love them both very much and believe that they deserve respect.

I enjoy serving the Lord through my talents which the Lord has given me to glorify him. Piano, voice, and encouraging others are my dominant gifts that I joyfully use anywhere he leads me. I know that they are pleasing to Him.

I also know that the Lord created man in His own image (look it up in Genesis! IT"S CALLED THE SIXTH DAY!). We are not animals that just somehow "evolved" from some chemicals by chance. I cannot say this enough...EVOLUTION IS WRONG!!!! It is a lie that Satan has put into people's heads to believe!! Just looking at your surroundings tells you that there has to be a creator...and that creator is GOD. I believe this with all of my heart. Each of us has a purpose in life that God has given us to fulfill. We are very special to God and are to be used to glorify the Lord and serve him.


When people sin there will be consequences...it's up to God to determine what those consequences will be however. God is not a mean God as some people say. He's very patient with unbelievers and believers when it comes to sin. He's loving and does not enjoy chastening His children...but it's the only way to lead them back into the flock when they've gone astray. Same with unbelievers, he doesn't enjoy chastening them but it could help them be lead to salvation in Christ. So I believe that good people and bad people suffer because we are all sinners. All sin is equal. The only difference is that some of us are believers in Jesus Christ which allows us to go to heaven and some of us are not (they are heading to hell). I also know that sometimes the Lord "tests" the believer's faith by bringing trials into their life. However he won't give them something too hard that they can't handle.

God chose us...we did not choose Him. He already knew me before I was even born. He had already chosen me to be one of His children before the beginning of time. However, when the opportunity of salvation comes along WE have the CHOICE to accept His gift. He does not force it upon us. It's our personal decision. I am so happy to say that I accepted that gift and have never regretted it...I don't know where I would be if I had not!
