On January 1 our goat had twins. The next morning I found them half frozen to death. So we took them inside, wrapped them in towels and hot pads, gave them food...but sadly both of them died later that day after fighting a good and hard fight. Death took a hold of them so quickly, it was very sad.
Our life as a human is "as a vapor" it says in the bible. We're here and we're gone. In other words, life is short. So if we want to live for the Lord, we better do it now....because we have no idea how short our lives could end up. Look at the twins....they were barely alive for a day. Your's could be a very small amount of time too, so what are you going to do with it? Are you going to waste it on feeding your own lusts and desires? Or are you going to sit back and realize that God put you here on this earth for a purpose, and you need to start living for Him NOW...before it's too late. It's your decision. I've made mine. I'm going to try and focus on heavenly things more than earthly things. The earthly things are temporary, but heavenly things are eternal. I don't know which sounds more appealing to you, but I'm choosing to live for the Lord.
